There are about 200 irregular verbs in English. We can divide these into four types: Verbs which have the same base form, past simple and past participle. Verbs which have the same past simple and past participle.
A regular verb is any verb whose conjugation follows the typical pattern, or one of the typical patterns, of the language to which it belongs. A verb whose conjugation follows a different pattern is called an irregular verb.
The verb go is an irregular verb in the English language (see English irregular verbs). It has a wide range of uses; its basic meaning is "to move from one place to another". Apart from the copular verb be, the verb go is the only English verb to have a suppletive past tense, namely went.
Some sentences contain more than one example.
There are thousands of regular verbs in English. This is a list of some 600 of the more common regular verbs. Note that there are some spelling variations in American English (for example, practise becomes practice in American English).

The main verb is also called the lexical verb or the principal verb. This term refers to the important verb in the sentence, the one that typically shows the action or state of being of the subject. Main verbs can stand alone, or they can be used with a helping verb, also called an auxiliary verb.

As you can see from that definition, there are two main categories of verbs: action verbs and state of being verbs (also known as linking verbs). Because action verbs and linking verbs are strong enough to be used in sentences all by themselves, they are called main verbs.

Perfect tenses
The present tense of run is run. The association members run a sloppy office. The past tense is ran.
The correct version is: I haven't run since I ran last time. A tautological sentence would be something ike this: Personally, I haven't run.
The past tense of run is ran. However, you couldn't say something was being "ran" poorly i.e. the business was ran poorly. However, saying "runned" would be wrong as well.
The word said is the past tense of the verb "say," but it can also be used as an adjective to refer to something that has been previously introduced. Although said is most commonly used as the past tense of the verb say, its use as an adjective comes mainly in legal and business writing.
