Zubat evolves into Golbat starting at level 22, which evolves into Crobat when leveled up with high friendship. Golbat cannot evolve into Crobat in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen until the player obtains the National Pokédex, as its evolution will be interrupted. Golbat also cannot evolve into Crobat in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, as Crobat is not present in those games.
Zubat evolves into Golbat, starting at level 22. You do not need to wait until a certain time or have any specific items to trigger the evolution. You also do not need to trade Zubat with other players to evolve it. However, leveling up Zubat to level 22 will require some grinding. Zubat can hold a Lucky Egg that adds increased EXP after battles to speed up the leveling process. If you do not have a Lucky Egg, you can find wild Chansey’s, which have a chance of holding either a Lucky Egg or an Oval Stone. You may also search for a Lucky Egg at Acuity Lakefront in the Grand Underground.
