Is V for Vendetta a horror?

V for Vendetta is a 2005 dystopian political action film directed by James McTeigue (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by the Wachowskis. It is based on the 1988 DC Comics limited series of the same name by Alan Moore and David Lloyd.

Does V reveal his face?

V's true identity is a mystery, and he visibly removes his mask only once during the entire story (at Surridge's request), at which point his back is to the reader. He doesn't even consider "V" his "name", saying "I do not have a name.

Does V love Evey?

That being said, he does fall in love with Evey and gives her a gift beyond comprehension. Unfortunately, the two are never successfully reunited after their mutual declaration of love. V is a very complicated human being when it comes to expressing emotions.

Is V the father of Evey?

His confidante Evey Hammond speculates in the comic that V might be her own father, who was arrested years before as a political prisoner; V denies it, however, and Moore has confirmed that V is not Evey's father.

What V means?

V's name is derived from the Roman numeral for five, representing the room number where he stayed when he was imprisoned in a resettlement camp and subjected to medical experiments. The character adopts the V because it represents the reason for his vendetta against the government that subjugated him.
